Virginia SNAP Payment Schedule

When receiving Virginia SNAP benefits you are given a Virginia EBT Card. Each month your EBT card is refilled through the Electronic Benefits Transfer system with the amount you were approved for when you applied for Virginia food stamps. It is important to know when your card gets refilled each month, so that you can better plan your food stamp purchases at stores that are authorized SNAP retailers. Benefits are made available from the 1st to the 9th of every month, based on the last digits of the client’s case number.

0-3 1st of the month
4-5 4th of the month
6-7 7th of the month
8-9 9th of the month

Didn't Receive My Virginia SNAP Payment

If you believe you do not receive your Virginia EBT payment this month and it is past the payment date listed above, then you would need to contact the Virginia Department of Social Services, who head up the SNAP program.
